Mr Marcus is an academic consultant neurosurgeon with a research interest in the development and evaluation of new devices that makes these keyhole approaches safer and more effective, including augmented reality, robotics, and artificial intelligence.

He is also interested in research on the processes of device innovation and translation, and how these can be improved.
