Welcome to the IDEAL 2024 Conference, championing the advancement of safe and innovative surgical practices on a global scale. This year, our conference, hosted by the IDEAL Collaboration, takes a deep dive into three critical areas: Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Global Surgery, and Education.

Furthermore, the IDEAL 2024 Conference invites the submission of abstracts, providing an opportunity for participants to contribute their work. Accepted abstracts will be published in BMJ Surgery, Interventions, & Health Technologies, offering contributors the chance to make a significant impact in the surgical community.

Cancellation policy: Full refund for cancellations over 28 days before the conference start date. No refund for cancellations less than 28 days before the conference start date.
Abstract submission: Abstract submission has now closed. All abstract submissions will be considered for an oral podium presentation. Accepted abstracts will be expected to be presented in person at the conference after payment of the attendance fee. Presented abstracts will be published in BMJ Surgery, Interventions, & Health Technologies.
