Library

A surgeon using a laptopLibrary remit and searches

The IDEAL library is intended to be helpful for researchers in surgery who are planning, conducting or reporting their work. We have not attempted to be exhaustive but list a selection of useful and accessible journal articles (currently English language only).

The search strategies we developed for each section are provided as a pdf below:

IDEAL Library Search Strategies 2013

We have searched publication dates 2008-2013 and plan to add new articles on a regular basis. In addition we will add key articles prior to 2008. If you would like to suggest an item for inclusion, please get in touch and let us know.

We would like to thank Tatjana Petrinic, Outreach Librarian (Surgical Sciences), Cairns Library, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, for her work on developing and running the searches for the IDEAL library.
